Please read the below points before sending an email
Please review the Information Brochure thoroughly. Due to the high volume of emails received daily, we may not respond quickly, and no reply will be sent if your query is already addressed below.
- The “Accept and Retain” option can be used twice for any specific program (XYZ) at any Institute (ABC). If you receive an upgraded offer from the same Institute in the next round, only the new (upgraded) offer will be available from that Institute, though you may still receive other offers from different Institutes.
- After retaining one offered program for two rounds (say, rounds X and X+1), if you switch to another program in round X+2, you can retain this new program for two additional times (rounds X+2 and X+3). However, in the last main round (Round 5), you cannot retain any offer.
- If you choose “Retain and Wait” for a program in one round (round X) and do not take any action in the next round (round X+1), your offer for that program is considered rejected and will not be offered again in round X+2. You may still receive an upgrade from the same Institute, if available.
- Once you select “Accept and Freeze,” you will not receive any further offers through COAP.
- After choosing “Accept and Freeze” in COAP, if you do not receive an official offer letter from the Institute, please contact that Institute directly, as COAP does not handle such matters.
- Before selecting any option in COAP, make your decision carefully. No requests to change your chosen option will be accommodated later.
- COAP does not have access to rank lists or cutoff scores for any programs. Institutes are responsible for making offers, so do not request the last rank or cutoff score for any round.
- In Round 5, you only have two options: “Accept” or “Reject.” The “Retain” option is not available.
- No separate registration is required for the additional rounds, and you will be offered choices based on availability, just like in the main rounds. However, there is no “Retain and Wait” option in the additional rounds.
